Joan Doane

With a background in advertising and promotion in the television industry and continued study in graphic design and technology, Joan brings years of experience to her creative services. Known for her marketing savvy, she can help clients create the ‘whole package’ for their business or personal pursuits. A geek from the day she got her very first computer, Joan was a well-known moderator for ‘Frontpage Webmaster’ one of the first web-design resource forums on the internet in the mid ’90s. Joan manages content on a number of blogs, including the volunteer community organization, Brampton Northwest Connects of which she is also a proud Steering Committee member. In her spare time, she is the co-founder of a local creative writing group where she pursues the art of writing humorous essays.

My family team includes two graphic designers, a photographer, a professional writer, a copy-writer, a promotions manager, and a creative director - and there’s only three of us.

We all have actual ‘day jobs’ but our passion is design and creativity and we like meeting people and working on new projects. Being passionate about our craft also means that our prices are extremely affordable – we do it mainly for the love, not the money! 

We create all types of print material including brochures, event posters, business cards, handbooks/chapbooks, newsletters and magazines.  If you know what you want, we’ll make it happen. If you want something but aren’t quite sure what, we’ll STILL make it happen. Just talk to us. You’ll be happy you did.

One of our specialities is blog and website creation or updates. We’re happy to collaborate with you to create a look based on your business, service and/or personality. We can work with your current web or blog set-up or suggest the best platform for your particular needs if you’re just getting started.

We’ve also started offering eBook publishing — if you’re an author wanting to sell your books in a format suitable for mobile devices such as tablets and eBook readers, please get in touch.

Erin Doane
A Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Art History from the University of Toronto, Erin also has a Design Diploma from Sheridan College. An instinctive photographer, she has an eye for beauty where others can’t see it. Strong design skills in all mediums and photo manipulation are part of her resume. Her work has been featured in Sheridan’s BUFF Magazine and has been displayed in both the Blackwood Gallery and Theatre Erindale at the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Campus. Devon Doane
A Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Waterloo, Devon’s field of studies included ‘Rhetoric and Professional Writing’. Devon can provide content evalution or writing for your project.
